Resident Evil 4 is a survival horror action game developed and published by Capcom, released on March 24, 2023. It is a remake of the 2005 classic, rebuilt in Capcom's RE Engine: agent Leon S. Kennedy is sent to rescue the kidnapped daughter of the U.S. president from a cult in rural Spain. The remake reimagines the story and combat while keeping the tense over-the-shoulder gameplay the original pioneered. The Separate Ways DLC launched in September 2023.
