About This Game
The Punisher is Capcom's adaptation of the Marvel comic, starring Frank Castle and Nick Fury tearing through the Kingpin's organization. It plays like a beat 'em up that keeps shooting you in the face: gunfights break out constantly, cover matters, and the enemies â mobsters, cyborgs, ninjas â shoot from all sides while you slide and roll between them.
Its standout mechanic is the interrogation grab: grabbing an enemy triggers a point-blank execution move with a dramatic zoom, dealing heavy damage. Stages mix street brawling, warehouse shoot-outs and a series of spectacular boss duels against Kingpin's lieutenants, ending with the man himself in his skyscraper.
- Frank Castle and Nick Fury with distinct weapons
- Gunplay layered onto beat 'em up movement and dodging
- Interrogation grab mechanic with heavy-damage finishers
- Six spectacular stages culminating in the Kingpin's tower

Tips & Strategy
Slide into gunfights, never walk
Enemy gunfire is the real health drain, not punches. Sliding covers ground quickly and keeps you under the bullet lines â standing still near a mobster with an SMG is suicide.
Grab the second wave for damage
The interrogation grab deals a large chunk of damage and cannot be interrupted once it connects. Use it on fresh spawns before they get their first shot off, and save it for armoured enemies your punches struggle against.
Nick Fury's gun is the boss melter
Between the two characters, Fury's ranged attack shreds bosses at safe range while Punisher rewards melee aggression. In two-player games, let Fury hold the shooting lane while Punisher ties enemies up in grabs.
Blow up the scenery on purpose
Cars, barrels and glass displays explode for area damage. Fighting near destructibles and baiting enemies into them does the work for you.
